Hailing from Los Angeles by way of south Florida, Michael Kaiser is a singer-songwriter known for his somber and soulful musical delivery. Taking influence from artists old and new, Michael’s melodies settle somewhere between Damien Rice and Leif Vollebekk often reading like poems. Settling in to Los Angeles just a short time ago, Michael has landed performances onto some of the city’s most coveted stages including multiple stints at The Hotel Cafe, Desert Nights, Pappy and Harriets, and now made his debut appearance at The Satellite last night for the release of his new single, “30 Rings”.

"30 Rings, was written in the wake of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, FL - miles away from my hometown. I didn’t exactly know how to confront the feelings of it all, and the feeling that life seemed to go on as usual, here in Los Angeles. The song is a reflection, a somber feeling after those events; also a wanting to own my own mistakes and grow from them, and ultimately a realization that while life goes on, we never really forget the moments (or tragedies) that shape who we are." - Michael Kaiser
