Featured as one of the number one unsigned bands in Illinois on Alternative Press, Chicago 5 piece pop-punk outfit Cleveland Avenue have made a name for themselves as one of the rising bands in their local scene. Founded in 2017 by charismatic singer Defonte Berry and drummer Adam Gay, the band draws influences from the likes of New Found Glory, The Wonder Years, and Neck Deep by blending catchy, hard-hitting hooks accompanied by lyrics inspired by real life situations.

In the fall of 2019, the band released their first EP True Love Is Not Just a Pizza Tattoo , which now has a million streams across all major platforms and counting. “True Love…” was also able to land the group gigs with bands like Meet Me At The Altar, Young Culture, and Keep Flying. On July 2nd, 2021, the band’s single If I Needed Help, I Wouldn't Call (911) was premiered on Alternative Press which garnered a massive response and left listeners wanting more. This caught the attention of Los Angeles based record label Anchor Eighty Four Records who signed the band in 2021.

Shortly after signing their first record deal, Cleveland Avenue entered the studio with producer/engineer Seth Henderson (Knuckle Puck, Real Friends, Broadside) to record two new songs for their label debut. Transforming rough demos into polished masterpieces, the band has released their first single “Lucy”, OUT NOW on all streaming platforms.
